2007-05-16 Recording Update
It's been a while since we've had any news to report, but here's the scoop. We've gone through a few changes and have been writing a lot. From January through March we went into the studio to write and record some new songs. After a few interruptions we got to mixing the recordings at the end of April and should be finished with the mixes at the end of May.
These recordings represent a new direction for the band, one that we hope is as exciting for you as it is for us. Look for us to post the new tracks here and on our MySpace page.

2005-12-24 2/24 gig at Ace of Clubs
We've booked a gig at The Ace of Clubs with our friends The Beat Hotel. Since we both know a lot of artsy types we're tossing around the idea of doing a multi media night with our two bands plus some photographers work on display, some short films between sets and possibly a couple of comedians to keep things flowing during the transitions. We're brainstorming at the moment but it could turn out to be a lot of fun and
different. Stay tuned...
2005-12-20 New Scratcher tunes in progress.
Scratcher is busy recording 7 new songs. Drum and bass tracks for all have been recorded in Sebastian's home studio while Dylan's guitar parts have been laid down in his home studio. The 7 songs, "Wake me", "Day for Two", "Picture of You", "Lead to Believe", "Rainy Days", "Depths" and "So Many Moments" so far. Brian and Melissa will bring it all together after the holidays. There's sure to be overdubs and fixes here and there but all in all we're hoping to have a nice shiny new product soon. Stay tuned. If we get ambitious we'll post some rough demos.
